We have a glider with matching ottoman that also glides as you rock. Right now it is perfect baby height. You’ve seen the pictures of him standing and rocking himself:
Well he also loves the tv and any type of moving picture-especially if it is of himself. So a routine activity in this household is to put the computer on the glider with burp cloth covering the keys and we either skype dad and talk to him, or we watch all the videos of Scooter. Here he is enjoying the afternoon matinée called Scooter Talking Day 2:

cute! Max has always loved to watch himself too. It’s really funny.
And I remember Ginna saying “turn on the monitor” when she was quite little herself. I think we all have an interest in ourselves. He’s becoming such a cute little guy
I’d say, “He’ll get over it,” thinking of how much I HATE looking at myself in pictures and mirrors. But he’s a guy – no matter what happens – unless they get fat – they just get more dignified and attractive.
So be glad that he isn’t headed for the dreadful disappointment of droop and wrinkle. He’ll always be handsome – when he’s not being goofy.
